Popular class teaching tricks of the trade in house maintenance. Class every Monday for 10 weeks.

Child and Adult Counselling

Therapeutic interventions are available in St Andrews Resource Centre. This included Adult Psychotherapy, CBT and Holistic therapies. Art Psychotherapy for Childre and Play Therapy.

Ancestry regularly participates in Dublin’s Data Science Festival, hosting events and delivering insightful talks on the use of data science and analytics in family history.

Family Support

Parenting is one of the most challenging roles experienced, it is an amazing rollercoaster journey but one that can have many bumps. One to one and group supports to parents who need a listening ear and some tools to navigate this rollercoaster are available by appointment.

Doorstep

An annual programme of local events in Google for our community, from local kids talent shows to events for Senior Citizens.

Event and exhibition space

Creative classes and workshops, as well as exhibition space linking in with annual festivals e.g. Science Week, Chinese New Year, Pride, Halloween etc.

Outreach/ Drop-in

The youth team work on different nights of the week in the community, to offer an outreach service for young people (13+ years) who are not already in groups and who may need various types of supports, providing a safe, supervised ‘unstructured space’ to socialise.

The Elite develop projects in the community thus providing a social, recreational and educational outlet aimed at meeting the needs of 10-12 year olds.

Intercultural group

The Intercultural group’s aim is to address the issues of isolation, exclusion, discrimination and insecurity experienced by unaccompanied minors and refugees (aged 14-17 years) in the community. Activities target personal and social development, provide fun and a safe space to be together.

Introduction to Motor Maintenance class every Tuesday for 10 weeks.

Arts group (Visual, performance)

This group engages young people (13 years+) through the medium of visual and performance arts.  It is a youth led programme where young people can explore topics and issues that affect them in their lives. The programme encourages young people to gain new skills.

Youth 21

This group is for young people aged 10 – 12 years. The aim of the group is to encourage young people to work collectively on various topics through fun and challenging activities.  The main focus of the group is personal and social development while building on active citizenship and confidence as well as the character building of its members.
